Join Stephanie Nugent for Contact Improvisation Master Classes! Students will enjoy a friendly and playful setting while learning techniques used to train professional dancers. Age-appropriate themes and music designed to draw focus and inspire creative engagement lay the ground work for learning, while directed exercises in movement improvisation, technique and choreography help aspiring artists to build strength, stamina, coordination, kinesthetic awareness, and memory.

Stephanie Nugent is a faculty member in the Department of Drama, Theatre, and Contemporary Dance at IU Bloomington. She has also served as guest faculty at The Ohio State University, adjunct faculty at Ball State and Anderson Universities, and as a guest artist/teacher with Motus Dance Theater. She has been presenting her choreography in the US and Italy since 2001, and has performed internationally with Ririe Woodbury Dance Company, Keith Johnson/Dancers, Malashock Dance and Company, Victoria Marks, Eun Jung Choi, Selene Carter, and Della Davidson.

Classes are open to the public! Please join us for a unique and awesome dance opportunity!

6-10 year olds – $15.00 per student

11+ year olds – $15.00 per student
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Sarah Zych is a local Indianapolis dancer and choreographer, originally from Battle Creek, Michigan. Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Anderson University in 2018.
