Sarah Zych

TEACHER

Sarah Zych is a local Indianapolis dancer and choreographer, originally from Battle Creek, Michigan. Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Anderson University in 2018. While there, Sarah had the pleasure of working with various guest artists from across the country including choreographers Earl Mosley, Eddie Ocampo, and Iris Rosa. Sarah has attended and performed at summer intensives such as New Dialect, EMIA, and Peridance. In 2015, Sarah received the 'Excellence in Composition' Award for her piece titled "Catatonic" that was featured at the American College Dance Association. For 6 years, Sarah has been performing locally in the Midwest, including performances with the Louisville Dance Series, Flourish, Phoenix Rising Dance Company, and Pulse Dance Project. Sarah has been with Dance Connection for 6 years, and the Artistic Director for the past 2. She teaches a multitude of genres and classes and works closely with the competition teams as a coach and choreographer. Sarah is passionate about cultivating a professional and positive environment for her students and is eager to watch them grow into strong and capable artists.
