Traci Cosby


Traci Cosby is excited to be a part of Dance Connection! She holds a Masters’ Degree in Dance from the American University in Washington, DC, and has trained for twenty years with a background in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. Influential educators include Katherine Dunham, Rennie Harris (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre), Adrienne Hawkins (Jazz Dance Project), Steven Baranovics (Washington Ballet), Debbie Harrison (Radio City Rockette), Diane Matthews (Philadanco) and her mentor, Dr. Naima Prevots. Experienced in performance and choreography, favorite credits include Dance Exchange Coordinator for the Westtown School Martinique Cultural Exchange Program in Fort de France, Martinique, Choreographer for Kennett Square Symphony Orchestra Production of "Peter and the Wolf" and Assistant Choreographer for the Off-Broadway Musical "The Club Harlem Revue" in New York. She has served as an Adjudicator for a variety of talent and youth competitions and enjoys working with youth through the many lessons dance education can offer.
